The study’s goal is to expose the ethical dilemmas and ethical codes that occur in supported employment, in order to develop an ethical code in supported employment. 83 supported employment counselors and 60 employers participated in the study. This study presents an integrative approach to coping with the multi-dimensionality of ethical dilemmas that arise subsequent to employment of a person with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD), among supported employment counselors and their employers. Practically, the findings will help to develop an ethical behavior code for employers and counselors of persons with IDD, that will influence the job market for them.
