Universal Design and Accessibility for Israelis with Intellectual Disabilities

The Division of Services for People with Mental Retardation (Division) seeks to ensure within this legislation the rights of individuals with intellectual disabilities. To realize this mission, the Israel Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services and the Burton Blutt Institute (BBI) established a collaborative project

The report is based on the steering committee meetings and discussions held between July, 2007 and June 2008. In addition, the report will juxtapose a review of the information garnered from the published literature and the BBI resources, with an analysis of the information gathered through a series of in-depth interviews conducted by steering committee members
